Non-Religious Purgatory

The idea of purgatory is mostly a religious idea, with the ideas of Heaven and Hell for example. But think that there might be life after death without the idea of a God existing

This idea in my mind is linking to Limbo, not linking to the common definition of "A supposed border-land of hell..."

Science cannot prove that we have a Soul, which in turn would have proven my case on the fact that there is a life after death

whether it has a reason or not, such as Heaven in Christianity, or the idea of Reincarnation in Budhism.

What we can prove is if we have a morality

In my mind, I believe that after death, we are sent to this blank space, think of this as the outside of the universe

similar to what Christianity would point to when being asked "Where is God" (the point being that God created the Universe, while being inside it)

It is valuable to note that what I am describing, is happening after death, due to there not being a actual afterlife, it isnt us living on.

It merely is the idea of our brain tricking us of believing that we live on, as studies suggest that our brain causes us to have flashbacks after death, so with this logic, I present the idea of the brain exponentially stopping time in our mind
